The wonderful aspect of painting flowers is that they won’t wilt or go to seed. In this workshop you’ll learn how to plan ahead, paint with courage, and know when to put your brush down. Overworking is more detrimental to flowers than Japanese beetles. Discover the art of brushstroke, balancing water-to-pigment ratios, color mixing, understanding pigment behavior, painting around the whites, and effectively managing the background.
