Saturday Wheel Throwing
with Kaileen Campbell
This beginner-friendly class is the perfect way to dive into the world of clay. Students will start with basic throwing techniques and progress at their own pace. Students will work with stoneware and fire their creations in an electric kiln to cone 6, making them microwave and dishwasher-safe. With demonstrations, hands-on support, and plenty of encouragement, each session is a chance to experiment, play, and discover the joy of pottery.
Tuition includes the cost of class instruction, use of all studio equipment, glazes, and the firing of your in-class creations.
Clay purchases and tools are not included.

Portrait Drawing Workshop
with Margaret Fanning
During this workshop, students will learn how to observe human proportions, build value with graphite to show dimension and texture, and multiple tips to make a realistic portrait. This workshop will start with a couple warm-up exercises to help loosen up and remove the stress of starting a new drawing. The instructor will provide a photograph for demonstration and students can follow along.

Friday Night Pottery Workshop: Handbuilding in July

Get ready to get a little messy in the ceramics studio! Join Kaileen Campbell for an evening of creating in the pottery studio. She will guide you through the handbuilding process and offer options for decorating your piece.
Participants will choose their glaze, and we will handle the firing and finishing for you. Finished pieces can be picked up approximately two weeks after the event. Light refreshments will be available.
Remember to wear or change into clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.

Silk Painting - A Fiber Arts Workshop
with Jill Lonergan
Spend your Friday evening discovering the vibrant art of silk painting! In this workshop, you'll design and paint your own silk scarf to wear, gift, or display as a one of a kind piece of art. Using a direct dye application, you'll experiment with layering color while exploring the unique beauty of painting on silk.
Whether you're trying silk painting for the first time or looking to expand your artistic skills, local artist and educator Jill Lonergan will guide you step by step through the process, helping you create a finished piece you'll be proud to take home.
Jill, a Bridgewater, NJ resident, holds a BFA in Environmental Design from East Carolina University and a teaching degree from Rider University. While she enjoys working in watercolor and acrylic, her true passion is silk painting and weaving.
All materials are included.
No experience is necessary. Come ready to relax, get creative, and enjoy an evening making something uniquely yours!
